Refund policy

By shopping on www.madpixelshop.com you agree to all terms and policies listed below and and any other policies listed on the site in regards to shipping, returns, cancellations and the general usage of the website.

All sales are final but if there is any issue with the item such as damage, not working as intended or dead on arrival issues they will be resolved to the best of my ability. The refund policy is in effect concerning if something needs to be returned due to an issue with the product. Everything I sell that is retro and or a used item is thoroughly tested prior to shipping, so likely hood of these types of issues are very slim. But as a just in case measure I will always do my best to take care of you as the customer to the best of my ability. 

Returns accepted within 14 days of receiving product if there is something wrong with the item. Every used item is put through testing to ensure no issues prior to being sold. But in case of any issue or concern please reach out and I will help the best I can. If a problem cannot be resolved satisfactorily a return will be accepted but must be sent back at buyers own cost.  To inquire about a return please email us at help@madpixelshop.com

The 14 day period applies to when the item was delivered, if you used a freight forwarding service the 14 days begins when the tracking shows it was delivered to the address you provided us for shipping, not when the freight forwarder delivers to you. 

All returns must be sent back in the condition it was received in. See below for more information.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.


Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.


Refunds/Returns
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

If a return is due to change of mind or it is found the reason for return is not accurate shipping costs/fees and processing fees paid by the seller will not be refunded. Actual cost of shipping the product, regardless of cost paid by buyer will be deducted from a return that is returned for any reason other than the product was received in non working condition.  Each return will be dealt with on a case by case basis. Any payment processing fees paid by the seller will also be deducted from the refund for returns that are out of change of mind or are misrepresented. 

To sum it up, if your return is due to you changing your mind, regretting buying the items or is misrepresented as a return request as dead on arrival or damaged you will be accessed a fee deducted from the refund equal to the actual fees I paid for accepting your payment and for the actual shipping charge regardless if your order qualified for free shipping or not. These are not recoverable fees on my end, so they are your responsibility in these instances.

Cancellations/Return to Sender

Once a order is placed it cannot be cancelled if a shipping label has already been created. Any cancellations that are requested prior to the package being shipped are subject to a cancellation fee that is equal to the fees the seller paid to the payment processing company, i.e. PayPal. This is due to PayPal charging those fees and not refunding them if a refund is made, this is also applicable to fees that Shopify charges whenever a sale is made. Exceptions can be made on a case by case basis, but do not cancel expecting the refund to not have these fees deducted. I am a small seller not a large business and hope this can be respected as I cannot accept the burden of paying money because of a change of mind for any reason. If a package is returned to sender due to incorrect address you put in, not picking up a package within the allotted time at a holding facility, i.e. UPS Access point, USPS, UPS store etc., or refusing acceptance of delivery you will not receive a refund of the shipping fee, the fees I incurred for selling to you or any return sender fees that I incur. Please be mindful of these policies.
